| Remove battery cover by twisting 1/4 turn clips 90° and removing. Lift
inner edge of cover up, push outer edge down to clear side trunk trim. |

| Remove knurled knob and lift off jack cover on left side of trunk. |
 |
| Remove both rear bulb holders by turning clips 90 degrees. |
 |
| Remove trunk carpet, pull rear trunk trim bottom edge into trunk, allowing
upper edge to come clear of plastic tabs. |
 |
| Remove screws securing actuator to center of rear trunk panel. |
 |
| Disconnect wiring and remove actuator, disconnect linkage rod from the
rear of the lock cylinder. |

Installation:
|
|
| Press latch into locked position with a screw driver. |
|
| Engage linkage rod in lock and position actuator in opening. |
|
| Pistol grip of actuator faces right side of car. |
|
| Insert screws loosely, push in the nose of the actuator and
tighten the screws. |
| There should be no more than 1mm of play in the linkage with
the actuator in position. |
