| Remove battery cover by twisting 1/4 turn clips 90° and removing. Lift
inner edge of cover up, push outer edge down to clear side trunk trim. |

| Remove right tail light bulb holder. |
 |
| Remove right side trunk trim by pulling the bottom into the trunk. |

| Disconnect wiring , remove screws and lift out actuator. |
 |
Installation:

| "Pistol grip" faces up. |
|
| Place the locking rod (arrow) through the rubber grommet in the body and
secure actuator so that the rod will allow the door to open when in the unlocked position. |
