Voltage regulator, remove and install
| Remove two screws retaining regulator and remove from alternator. |

| Check slip rings where brushes run for wear, polish if necessary. |
| Clean contact surfaces where regulator contacts diode plate. |
| Install top screw on regulator and swing regulator into position,
compressing the brushes as you do so. Install lower screw. |
