Interior light time delayDuring November 1990 a new interior light control unit (timer relay) P/N 61 31 1 373 974 was introduced into production. The door handle contact was eliminated and the control unit modified resulting in the triggering of the delay function by opening or closing the doors. Note : this changed function affects the locking function of the BMW remote control vehicle security system, refer to 65 05 91 (3265) The new interior light control unit can be installed in all E30 vehicles originally equipped with the interior light delay. |
