Thigh bolster, remove and install.


NOTE:  It is possible to dismount the thigh bolster from the seat, but the material covering the thigh bolster is one piece with the seat base and cannot be detached.


Move seats fully rearward, remove caps from nuts and remove the 17mm nut from front of each rail. 520001.jpg (24105 bytes)
Move seats fully forward and remove the two 17mm bolts from rear of rails. 520003.jpg (28644 bytes)
Disconnect seatbelt switch wiring from below drivers seat 610006.jpg (27710 bytes)
Lift seats out of car carefully to avoid damaging paint or trim.
Turn seat upside down, move thigh bolster to a position where clip can be removed. 520031.jpg (62864 bytes)
Remove clip and pivot pin. 520032.jpg (51994 bytes)
Slide bolster off front of seat.  Note, bolster is attached to seat base by upholstery. 520033.jpg (63389 bytes)
Pry back the two tabs on each end of bolster and pull upholstery over them. 520034.jpg (57711 bytes)
Pull channel off front and rear of bolster. 520035.jpg (53078 bytes)
Remove metal support and foam. 520036.jpg (58675 bytes)
