Drive shaft nose bushing, replaceRemove the drive shaft Remove the old bushing with a puller, or alternatively, pack the end of the driveshaft with grease and place a 14mm mandrel in the center of the bushing. Hitting the mandrel with a hammer will create pressure behind the bushing, forcing it out. Lubricate the center of the shaft, and install the new bushing with the sealing lip facing out. The bushing should protrude 4.5mm from the end of the shaft. |
