Radiator remove and install

Be conscious of the environment. Catch the coolant in a clean pan and either re-use it or dispose of it at an appropriate recycling center.
Remove cap from expansion tank with cold engine and drain coolant from radiator. 170020.jpg (15030 bytes) 170023.jpg (38886 bytes)
Remove clips on each top corner of fan shroud and move shroud back over fan for clearance.
Remove coolant hoses.
Remove bolt from top edge of radiator. 170015.jpg (42394 bytes)
Lift out radiator.

Installation
Transfer rubber grommet and mounts to new radiator.
Check that radiator lower mount(s) correctly seat in receptacle(s) on lower radiator support. 170024.jpg (39532 bytes)
Check for correct location of fan shroud in mounts on radiator

Torques

Radiator mounting bolt(s) : 9 Nm (6.5 ft lbs.)
Radiator drain plug : 3 Nm ( 2 ft lbs.)
Coolant hoses : 2.5 Nm (1.7 ft lbs.)
