Installation
Clean sealing surfaces and replace gasket.
Use silicone sealer on lower timing cover and rear seal carrier where they
meet the cylinder block.
In order to aid lining up the upper oil pan gasket, use four of the long
lower oil pan bolts through the upper pan and gasket. This will keep gasket aligned
while installing correct bolts in other holes. Remove the four long bolts after all other
bolts have been installed.
Adjust oil pump chain by installing or removing shims. Chain should
have approximately 10mm (3/8") of sideways movement.
