Deborah J Christie IIHHT, MIFHB, MICHT

Having always had a keen interest in complimentary therapies and beauty practices, Deborah set about studying for her first professional qualification in 1998 and attained the Diploma in Body Massage.  This served to enhance her passion for touch therapy and so she continued in her journey into the world of holistic treatments, setting up Manotra Holistic Therapy.

Deborah has since continued to learn and absorb as much knowledge and experience as possible over the years and has gone on to train in and gain professional qualifications in Sports Massage, Indian Head Massage, Reflexology, Advanced Aromatherapy, Advanced Hot Stone Massage, Holistic Facials, Natural Face Lift, Eye Treatments, Nail Treatments and Depilation.

Most recently, having taken on the marvellous HydrothermTM system, Deborah has been training with Hydrotherm over the last year and has achieved Distinctions in both the Foundation and Advanced Hydrotherm Massage and also in Hydrotherm Massage During Pregnancy, making her the only local, fully qualified and insured therapist for this treatment.

Towards the end of last year, Deborah was given the wonderful opportunity, to start working in a local primary school as a Bodyworker under A Quiet Place® programme. Using her therapies with the children, parents and staff has proved to be incredibly rewarding, especially seeing the improvement in the children’s self esteem in such a short space of time.

Deborah currently maintains professional membership of the Federation of Holistic Therapists, the International Council of Holistic Therapists and the International Federation of Health & Beauty Therapists and is affiliated with the International Institution of Health & Holistic Therapists.
